Insert your 4.0.1 patch disk into your Mac. Double-click on the "DateBook Pro 4.0.1 Patch" file. Click on the Patch button. Locate your copy of the DateBook Pro 4.0 application on your hard disk. Click on the Patch button again. Now locate the DateBook Pro Extension (it should be in your Extensions folder inside your System folder). Click on the Patch button again. That's it!
If you experienced Alarm problems, we also recommend that you throw out your "DateBook Pro 4 Alarms" file found in your Preferences folder in your System folder. It may be corrupted. The first time you launch the 4.0.1 version, a new "DateBook Pro 4 Alarms" file will be created.
•TouchBase Pro 4.0.1 Patch Instructions
Insert your 4.0.1 patch disk into your Mac. Double-click on the TouchBase Pro 4.0.1 Patch file. Click on the Patch button. Locate your copy of the TouchBase Pro 4.0 application on your hard disk. Click on the Patch button again. Now locate the TouchBase Pro Extension (it should be in your Extensions folder inside your System folder). Click on the Patch button again. You can also install the new Picture Field feature by simply dragging the Picture file from the 4.0.1 patch disk and placing it into your TouchBase Pro Plug-Ins folder within your TouchBase™ Pro 4.0 folder. If you don't intend to use this feature, you don't need to install it. That's it!
If you are a multi-user site, please update all users from 4.0 to 4.0.1 before using the 4.0.1 versions.
To check to see that the patches updated correctly, you can select the DateBook™ Pro or TouchBase™ Pro file and select "Get Info" from the file menu. Next to "Version:", it will say "4.0.1." Or just launch the application and select "About DateBook Pro " or "About TouchBase Pro' from the Apple menu and the version number will be displayed in the about box.
